Safe project communication
Community Standards
RemodelCalm is project communication, not an anonymous social network. Participants should be able to coordinate work without threats, harassment, fraud, privacy violations, or unsafe pressure.
Use RemodelCalm to
- Discuss scope, selections, dimensions, schedules, costs, deliveries, site conditions, safety, and evidence.
- Ask questions, surface risks, disagree respectfully, and correct the record.
- Share only information and media that are relevant to the project and appropriate for authorized participants.
- Use explicit decision records when authority matters.
Do not
- Threaten, harass, bully, discriminate against, sexually exploit, or target another person.
- Encourage dangerous work, conceal a known hazard, or pressure someone to bypass safety controls.
- Impersonate someone, falsify evidence, manipulate decisions, commit fraud, or misrepresent professional authority.
- Post explicit sexual material, graphic violence, spam, malware, or illegal content.
- Reveal passwords, one-time codes, complete payment-card information, government identifiers, or unrelated sensitive information.
- Upload work without the necessary rights and permissions.
Reporting and blocking
Use a project message’s in-app actions to report it or hide that participant’s messages. Reporting preserves the original record for restricted review. Hiding a participant does not delete project evidence. A project owner may remove access when authorized. You can also submit a safety or content report.
How review works
Designed Calm LLC may preserve evidence, restrict content, remove access, contact a project administrator, or take another proportionate step after reviewing the report and available project record. Safety reports are prioritized during staffed business days. Repeated or severe abuse may lead to longer restrictions or account removal. Illegal content may be preserved or disclosed when required by law.
Appeals
To appeal a content or access decision, use the support form, choose “Safety or content report,” and begin the message with “Appeal.” Include the project name, the decision you are appealing, and any context that was not considered. A review will consider the original decision, the available record, and the new information.
Emergencies
RemodelCalm is not an emergency service and reports are not monitored around the clock. If anyone may be in immediate danger, leave the app or site and contact local emergency services. A report does not replace required workplace, law-enforcement, insurance, or contractual notice.
